$23,500 for a 2005 325cic??  CP.

Super low mileage and this thing seems perfect- even the driver’s side bolster and trunk struts look factory fresh. But it’s got the smallest engine available.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I own more or less the same car (nowhere near as nice because I actually drive it), and there’s no way in hell I would pay anywhere near this price for one.

If it were an M3 vert, maybe...

Nope - bidding frenzy the last 15 minutes took it from $16k to $23,500. No joke.

It *is* a stunning example - having owned one for 18 years, I know where to look for the common cosmetic faults, and this car is near perfect.

But come on, it’s a 325, FFS.

Then it would make sense.

Adjusted for inflation that price is the basically the sticker price of that car back in 2005.

Someone has lost their shit.

It’s a “stunning” example of a 20 year old platform and a base car.

My Mercedes is rather purty, but I know it's worth slightly above squat.

Yeah I have almost this same car and if you offered me $ 4k for it I would take your money and run fast before you thought it over.

That’s backwards- it cost $ 42k back then.

You can get a nice M3 convertible for this price. Silly.

When I Googled it the Google said it was $32k.

Regardless, that price is stupid.

I’d never offer you $4k because I know those cars too well lol.

But if you want to drive it out to California I’ll make it all purty for you and you can get $25,000 for it on Bringatrailer.

The original monroney label was in the pictures somewhere, that’s how I know. 32k maybe was base before options I’m guessing.

SUPER RARE M-SPORT 325CI!

If I ever test drive an E46 M3 SMG that they advertise as a manual, and they did that stupid "mod" where they put in a 6 speed gear knob I'm going to punch the owner in the face and throw their keys at their nuts.

Then drive it off a cliff with the owner in it, screaming “ YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE!!!!!"

Probably. But the Ferrari is * slightly* more desirable.
